Cheer Up!

Update 4/25 - 5/1

Hi Friend,

I've been trying to fill in some of the weird patches in my yard by throwing down some wildflower seeds.  Not having any idea of what they would look like other than they wouldn't grow very tall cutting down my cutting time, I was very pleased to see some pretty flowers pop up.  AND my first rose showed up in all its glory.

I was passing by the kitchen area at work when I heard.

K: Fred is leaving.

Me: And this is how you tell me?

And this was funny because I think I've spoken to Fred twice in the 3 years he worked with me. 

I also hung out with Shana and Jamie.  We went shopping for flowers and then ate and drank and then walked around for more shopping.  One amusing moment was when we were stopping by this one vender who had copious amounts of gilded racks and (fake) mounted animals.  She was engaging Shana, explaining why she should purchase one, not knowing that Shana has one of everything she had in inventory hanging on her wall.  Then we walk to the pet store and saw this helpful message from Seattle to Seattle.
